EGPD Daily Watch Summary July 29-31

NIGHT WATCH No major incidents or arrests logged. ________________________________________________________________________________

DAY WATCH

 

Time: 1201 hours

Report #: 16-004996 Charges: HS 11350(A)

Location: Franklin Blvd. / Tegan Rd.

Suspect: VOLLMAR, MICHAEL (WMA, 24, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was riding a bicycle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A consent search of S-1 led to the discovery of narcotics. S-1 was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation and released.

Report #: 16-004997 Charges: HS 11350(A), 11351, 11352(A), 11378, 11366, PC 1203.2(A) Location: 5200 block of Misty Meadow Way.

Suspect #1: MILLER, ROBERT (WMA, 29, ARRESTED)

Suspect #2: PECKHAM, CONNER (WMA, 28, ARRESTED)

Suspect #3: CASIMIR, CHRISTOPHER (WMA, 27, ARRESTED)

Suspect #4: CASTON, STEPHON (BMA, 27, ARRESTED)

S-2 (Elk Grove resident) and S-4 (Sacramento resident) were detained at another location in the City of Sacramento after officers observed a narcotics transaction. S-2 was arrested possession of narcotics for sale then transported to the main jail. S-4, who was in possession of narcotics, was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation and released. Officers conducted follow up by making contact with S-1 and S-4 (Elk Grove residents) at the Misty Meadow Way location, which is S-1’s residence. Officers located narcotics and controlled substances and indicia of sales at S-1’s residence. S-1 and S-4 were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Location: 9100 block of W. Stockton Blvd.

Victim: ULTA BEAUTY

Suspect: JUVENILE (AFJ, 16, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was detained by Ulta Beauty loss prevention for shoplifting. An officer arrived and took S-1 into custody. S-1 was transported to EGPD where she was processed, issued a misdemeanor citation, then released to her mother.

Time: 2111 hours

Report #: 16-005006 Charges: HS 11359, 11360(A), PC 1203.2(A), WARRANT

Location: Big Horn Blvd. / Laguna Blvd.

Suspect #1: NGO, HOA (AMA, 32, ARRESTED) Suspect #2: LIZAOLA GUTIERREZ, OSWALDO (HMA, 22, ARRESTED)

S-2 (Hayward resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. S-1 (Sacramento resident) was a passenger in the vehicle being driven by S-2. Upon contact, the strong odor of marijuana emanated from inside the vehicle. S-1 initially provided false information about his identity. A records check of S-1 revealed that he had an active warrant out for his arrest. A search of the vehicle S-2 was driving led to the discovery of marijuana and indicia of sales. Both suspects were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Location: 9100 block of Lujan Dr.

Suspect #1: FITZHUGH, TANNER (WMA, 18, ARRESTED) Suspect #2: CHRISTENSEN, NICHOLAS (WMA, 20, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to the above location after the reporting person observed the occupant of a vehicle (front passenger) firing a handgun into the air. Responding officers located the described vehicle being driven by S-2 (Elk Grove resident) and contacted an enforcement stop. S-2 and the front passenger, S-1 (Madera resident), were detained. A search of the vehicle S-2 was driving led to the discovery of a loaded handgun in the center console of the vehicle. S-2 was issued a misdemeanor citation and released. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

NIGHT WATCH

Time: 0025 hours

Report #: 16-005016 Charges: VC 23152(A)

Location: Big Horn Blvd. / Laguna Blvd.

Suspect: HERNANDEZ, FERNANDO (HMA, 49, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle and was contacted at a sobriety checkpoint. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

 

Time: 0240 hours

Report #: 16-005017 Charges: VC 23153(A), 23153(B), PC 148(A)(1)

Location: Bilby Rd. / Bruceville Rd. Suspect:

CORTEZ, MATHEW (WMA, 28, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to the above location regarding an injury collision. The reporting person indicated that a female passenger fell off a motorcycle and was injured. When officers arrived, they observed S-1 (Elk Grove resident) driving away on a motorcycle with a female passenger. S-1 pulled over a short distance away and was contacted. Upon contact, S-1 became uncooperative and displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 became verbally abusive and refused to follow instructions. S-1 was arrested, cleared for incarceration, then transported to the main jail. The as well as at the Elk Grove Police Department. The passenger suffered visible injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment.

 

DAY WATCH

Time: 1106 hours

Report #: 16-005022 Charges: PC 647(F)

Location: 8500 block of Bond Rd.

Suspect: HUBBARD, DAVID (WMA, 25, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication then transported to the main jail.

 

Time: 1141 hours

Report #: 16-005024 Charges: PC 664/215(A), 1203.2(A), 459, 466, 600(A), 148(A)(1), HS 11364 Location: 9300 block of W. Stockton Blvd.

Suspect: TURNBULL, JOHNNY (WMA, 22, ARRESTED)

The victim had just parked her vehicle in front of the above location when she was approached by S-1. While the victim was seated in the driver’s seat, S-1 opened the driver side door and grabbed/pulled the victim by the wrist. S-1 then walked to the passenger side of the vehicle, opened the door then sat down in the passenger seat. S-1 and the victim then struggled over the car keys. S-1 fled the location on foot and EGPD was contacted. Responding officers located S-1 who fled into a residential area on foot. An EGPD K9 was deployed in an effort to apprehend S-1. S-1 kicked and punch the K-9 and resisted the officers attempts to take him into custody. An officer deployed his Taser which was successful in gaining compliance from S-1. S-1 was arrested and a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of narcotics paraphernalia. Officers were also able to determined that S-1 was responsible for a vehicle burglary earlier that morning. S-1 was medically cleared for incarceration then transported to the main jail.

 

EVENING WATCH

Time: 1618 hours

Report #: 16-005026 Charges: PC 273.5(A), 212.5(A), 243(D), 273.6(A), 1203.2(A), WARRANT Location: CONFIDENTIAL

Victim: CONFIDENTIAL

Suspect: VILLATUYA, EUSEBIO (AMA, 35, ARRESTED) S-1 (Elk Grove resident) arrived at V-1’s residence and forced his way into the residence. Once inside, S-1 punched V-1 in the face several times. S-1 proceed to take property from inside the residence before leaving. Officer arrived and contact V-1, who suffered visible injuries. A records check revealed that S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest and that there was an active restraining order issued to V-1 against S-1. Officers later located and detained S-1 during a vehicle stop. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the recovery of the stolen property.

Location: 8500 block of \Bond Rd.

Suspect: ANDERSON, JEREMY (BMA, 33, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to the above location regarding a possible shoplifting suspect. Upon arrival, officers located S-1 who matched the description provide by the caller. Upon contact, S-1 was found to be on probation. A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of narcotics and a controlled substance. During the initial contact, S-1 provided false information about his identity. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

NIGHT WATCH

Time: 0118 hours

Report #: 16-005036 Charges: PC 148.9A), 1203.2(A) Location: 9000 block of Elk Grove Blvd. Suspect: WATSON, LUKE (WMA, 23, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted at the above location and provided false information about his identity. A records check of S-1’s true name revealed that S-1 was on probation. S-1 was arrested, processed at EGPD, then released with a misdemeanor citation.

EVENING WATCH

Time: 2027 hours

Report #: 16-05049 Charges: WARRANT

Location: 3300 block of Marina Cove Cir. Suspect: KING, JAMES (MWA, 29, ARRESTED) S-1 (Lodi resident) was arrested for an active warrant then transported to the main jail.

 

Time: 2019 hours

Report #: 16-005050 Charges: PC 243(B), 529(3), 647(F), 148(A)(1)

Location: Hirsch Cir. / Swann Way. Suspect: CAMPOS, CHRISTOPHER (HMA, 22, ARRESTED) Officers responded to the above location regarding a suspicious person. Upon arrival, an officers located and contacted S-1 who matched the description provided by the reporting person. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 provided false information about his identity and refused to follow instructions. When the officer attempted to detain S-1, attempted to punch the officer and grabbed the officer’s groin area. After a brief struggle, S-1 was eventually arrested, handcuffed then transported to the main jail.
