Update on last week’s Fales Park shooting 

The Elk Grove Police Department issued an update on last week’s shooting at Fales Park, across the street from Monterey Trails High School 
FALES PARK SHOOTING
ELK GROVE, CA – On September 30, 2016 at 3:41 p.m., two teenaged boy (16 and 17 years of age) were shot while at Fales Park (8400 block of Auberry Drive) after a physical confrontation with an unidentified suspect.
During the course of the investigation, officers developed information and obtained video surveillance that captures the primary suspect and two associates prior to the shooting (photos below). The primary suspect was described as an African-American male with a dark complexion, approximately nineteen years old (19), five feet seven inches tall (5’7″), with a thin build and bushy uncombed hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and black with white mid-sole athletic shoes.
The second suspect was described as an African-American male with a light complexion, approximately nineteen years old (19), five feet ten inches tall (5’10”), with a thin build and medium-length dreadlocks with blond-died tips. He was wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black athletic shoes. The last suspect was described as a Caucasian male, approximately nineteen years old (19), five feet nine inches tall (5’9″), with a thin build and dirty-blond hair worn in a “man-bun”. He was wearing a blue, red, and white short-sleeve t-shirt, black pants, and white athletic shoes.
Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
