In its continuing efforts to support small businesses and startup ventures in Elk Grove, the City of Elk Grove, California, recently provided a $5,000 grant to Elk Grove’s Flatland Brewing Company to assist with startup.
Located at 9183 Survey Road in Elk Grove, Flatland Brewing Company is a new small batch brewery and tasting room started by a husband and wife team of Elk Grove residents. The grant was provided by the City as part of its newly created Brewery & Winery Incentive & Assistance Program. Launched earlier this year at the Elk Grove Brewfest, the program provides grants and financing, site selection assistance, and expedited permits and approvals to brewers and vintners looking to locate or expand in Elk Grove.
