With the help of an attentive neighbor, Elk Grove police arrested three juveniles for a burglary in the 9300 block of Katelynn Court in Elk Grove. The incident took place just after 12:30 pm Monday afternoon. The neighbor witnessed two suspects go into the backyard while a third was a lookout in the front. When officers arrived the lookout was gone. Two suspects emerged from the backyard and fled the scene in a westbound direction. The third suspect fled in a northbound direction. Additional officers were on the scene and stationed to cover possible escape routes. All three were caught and arrested. They were taken to juvenile hall. The suspects were a black male juvenile age 15 from Elk Grove, an Hispanic male juvenile age 17 from Elk Grove and a black make juvenile age 17 from Sacramento. Officers confirmed that the house was burglarized and two of the suspects were in possession of stolen property.
