S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle while revving the engine of a vehicle that was stuck in the mud. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect:   ARMSTRONG, SIDNEY (BMA, 25, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. One of the occupants was found to be on probation. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics on the seat where S-1 had been sitting. S-1 was arrested and provided false information about his identity. A records check of S-1’s real name revealed that he was on parole. S-1 was processed then transported to the main jail.
