Elk Grove police were called to the Century Movie Theaters on Big Horn Blvd last night because of an incident at the theater. According to comments on a post on the Elk Grove Laguna Forums Facebook page, the theaters were packed with people to see the new horror film, Bye Bye Man. The movie was sold out and teens in the the lobby became unruly. The theater staff was unable to get control of the situation. There were unconfirmed reports of fights breaking out. The Elk Grove police department responded to the disturbance. According to police, no arrests were made.

Some of the teens were dropped off earlier by parents who were shocked to come back later to find police at the theaters. Some parents were called by their children to come pick them up.
