BareBones WorkWear opens location in Elk Grove

Elk Grove is home to the newest BareBone WorkWear location in the area. Earlier today they held their grand opening ribbon “sawing” ceremony.  The ribbon cutting was a bit unconventional as a piece of wood was used in place of a ribbon and a saw was used in place of scissors. The unconventional approach is intended to demonstrate their commitment to hardworking blue collar workers in the area who work with tools for a living.

The store is located at 8535 Elk Grove Blvd. in the Elk Grove Village Shopping Center next to Big Lots.Franchise owners, Brett & Dorothy Parent and their son, Heath. Brett, a veteran, has been an Elk Grove resident for 45 years. He attended Elk Grove High School and coached football at Sheldon High School. Brett has been in the construction business for over 30 years and is a master electrician working in the home building industry and recently for Sacramento County. Dorothy is a highly regarded massage therapist who has worked with numerous chiropractors for over 30 years.

Also participating in the “Ribbon Sawing” were BBWW Founder and CEO, Stu Nelson and his partner and COO, Mason Moore. BareBones WorkWear has been a popular brand for construction workers, mechanics, bricklayers and other blue collar workers in the Sacramento area for over 18 years. Founded by Stu Nelson, the company is now extending their growth by offering franchises. The Elk Grove location marks the third franchise store to open in a short period of time.

BareBones WorkWear® was named to Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for 2015. Like the original corporate stores, the franchises feature a wide array of quality brand name apparel, footwear, safety gear and accessories. Products featured in all the stores are durable, comfortable, and stylish, making them also suitable for lifestyle and outdoor markets.
