What steps can you take to prevent your home from being burglarized?

1. Make it look like someone is home. Have lights on a timer. Leave the radio on.

2. Get an alarm system, or at least an alarm sign to put in you front yard. Those are cheap.

3. Home video system, Ring doorbell, something to record what is happening and better if it notifies you when someone is there.

4. Get a dog.

5. Vary your routine if possible.

6. Get to know your neighbors and watch out for each other
