Four teens arrested by Elk Grove Police for trying to break into Elk Grove home

 

 

Elk Grove Police received a call around 6 pm Monday night regarding individuals observed trying break into a home in 10100 block of Van Brocklin Way.  When officers arrived they observed a vehicle leaving the area.  They conducted a vehicle stop. There were four teens in the car, one was 18 and the others were juveniles.  The driver of the vehicle, a 17 year old from Elk Grove was ID’d by a witness as being one of the two trying to gain access to the home.  The driver was on probation. Another teen was from Elk Grove and a teen and the 18 year old, Jakari Jenkins, were from Sacramento.  Jenkins was arrested and taken to the county jail. The teens were taken to juvenile hall.
