Two more armed robbery incidents as residents exit their vehicles

 

There were two more incidents of Elk Grove residents being robbed as they exited their vehicles since Friday morning bringing the number of such incidents to four in the past week.

 

Shortly after midnight on Friday morning, September 1, three suspects described as black male adults approached the victims as they exited their vehicle in 3400 block of Port Pacific Lane.  One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded property from the victims.  Fearing for their safety, the victims handed over their personal property and the suspects fled in a dark colored four door sedan.

 

 

The second incident took place shortly after midnight on Labor Day morning, in 9300 block of Miko Circle.  Two suspects, described as black male adults, approached the victim as he exited his vehicle. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s personal property. Both suspects then kicked and punched the victim, before fleeing in a blue sedan. The victim received medical treatment on the scene.

 

 

On Tuesday, August 29, a man was assaulted as he exited his vehicle in the 9500 block of Andretti Way.

 

On Thursday, August 31, four suspects attempted to rob a victim outside of their home. Two of the suspects were caught and two remain at large.

 

Elk Grove Police are not sure if any of the four incidents are related.  Elk Grove residents are becoming alarmed at the recent spate of violent incidents in the city.  Commenters on the Elk Grove Laguna Forums Facebook page have expressed concern about the crimes
