WALGREENS PHARMACY ROBBERY ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying and locating the two suspects responsible for a pharmacy robbery yesterday afternoon at Walgreens (7299 Laguna Boulevard).
On September 6, 2017, at 12:10 p.m., the suspects (pictured below) entered Walgreens and made their way to the pharmacy area located at the rear of the store. Both suspects jumped over the counter and confronted the employees who were working in the pharmacy. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of medication from the pharmacy then fled the store on foot. The suspects were last seen running towards a nearby apartment complex. Responding officers were on scene within two minutes of the call and established a perimeter. After an extensive search, the suspects were not located.
The first suspect was described as an African-American male adult, 20’s, 6’1” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black/white shoes. The second suspect was described as an African-American male adult, 30’s, 5’11”, with a stocky build (200 lbs.). He was wearing a blue jacket, black sweat pants and gray shoes.

Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
