This morning Tim Cook, the head of Apple unveiled the company’s latest line of products. A new series for Apple Watch, new Apple TV, the iPhone 8 & 8 Plus as well as the next generation iPhone, iPhone X (the number 10, not the letter X). No really big surprises, other than the announcement of the iPhone X, although that was leaked already. As usual Apple has made some upgrades and jazzed things up. Notes from the event below. First ever event at the Steve Jobs Theater. Tim Cook talked about the memory of Apple founder Steve Jobs. Cook also talked about Apple’s new home Apple Park. There will be an Apple visitors center open to the public.

Apple is redesigning stores in its largest stores in the biggest cities. Larger stores, more open designs, more user friendly. To be called Apple Town Squares.
Sales increased 50% over last year. Apple Watch is the #1 watch in the world.

Series 3 Will have cellular built in. You can leave your phone at home. Maps, phone calls and texts will work on the watch. Also you can listen to music on the Apple Ear Pods while connected to Apple Watch. Siri will also talk on Series 3. New cases and bands.
Series 3 with cellular will be $399. Without cellular $329. Older Apple Watch will be $249.
