Location: 9300 block of Miko Cir.

Officers responded to the above location regarding a call of shots fired in the area. When officers arrived, they determined that an unknown suspect or suspects had discharged a handgun and bullets had struck an occupied residence and a vehicle. When the four suspects fled on foot, S-1 (Elk Grove resident) exited his residence, which was initially struck by bullets, and fired a handgun at the fleeing suspects. As a result of S-1’s actions, a secondary vehicle and occupied residence were struck by bullets. S-1 was detained and the handgun used by S-1 was located. A records check revealed that the weapon S-1 had fired had been reported stolen. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. No injuries were reported in either shooting.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. S-1 was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of a medical condition. At the hospital, S-1 was arrested then issued a citation and released. ________________________________________________________________________________

Location: 6700 block of Venetian Ct.
Suspects: UNKNOWN (BMA’s)

The victim was inside his residence when he heard someone banging on his garage door. When the victim and four friends exited the residence to investigate the noise that was heard, the victim discovered that the garage door had significant damage. While the victim and his friends were outside, they were approached by four unknown black males who demanded their property. At least one of the men was armed with a handgun and displayed it during the robbery. During the robbery, the suspect who was armed with the handgun struck one of the victims in the head with the weapon. Fearing for their safety, the victims gave the suspects personal property. The suspects fled the location on foot and were last seen driving away in a black four-door vehicle. One of the victims was transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment. The suspects were described as BMA’s and were wearing black hooded jackets.

Location: 8900 block of Grovetree Way.

During an argument, the uncle of the victim armed himself with a handgun and shot his niece. After being shot in the arm and stomach, the victim fled the residence. Additional family members who were inside the home also fled after the shooting. When officers entered the residence, they found the uncle deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
