Elk Grove police arrest 7 people in pot busts at 6 locations

 

 

Elk Grove police arrested 7 people at 6 different Elk Grove locations on Wednesday morning related to a marijuana growing operation in the city.

 

Detectives from the EGPD Street Crimes Unit served a six location search warrant (9200 block of Lamprey Dr., 9200 block of Fife Ranch Way, 8400 block of Starlily Court, 5700 block of Tall Grass Way, 5800 block of Deepdale Way and 9500 block of Four Winds Drive) related to an active marijuana cultivation operation. Detectives recovered over 1600 plants and 95 pounds of processed marijuana. All seven suspects (Elk Grove residents) were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect #3: WENG, WENXING (AMA, 33, ARRESTED)
Suspect #4: CHEN, LI (AFA, 55, ARRESTED)
Suspect #5: ZHOU, MEI (AFA, 54, ARRESTED)
Suspect #6: LIN, XINGLONG (AMA, 50, ARRESTED)
Suspect #7: QUI, JIN (AMA, 61, ARRESTED)
