Two arrested in marijuana growing operation spanning six homes in Elk Grove

 

For the second time in a week, Elk Grove Police officers were busy shutting down marijuana growing operations in the city.

 

The operation started early Wednesday morning with officers serving search warrants at seven Elk Grove homes.

  • 9200 block of Glenayle Pl.
  • 8100 block of Laguna Brook Way
  • 8800 block of Coral Berry Way
  • 8500 block of Blackberry Way
  • 6900 block of Kilconnell Dr.
  • 5300 block of Lake Pleasant Dr.
  • 9400 block of Syrah Ct

 

Two people were taken into custody. 54 year old Pin Wang and 43 year old Qingfen Han, both of Elk Grove.  1700 plants and 16 pounds of processed marijuana was confiscated.

 

Exactly one week earlier, seven people were arrested at six homes in the city by Elk Grove Police.
