Elk Grove police arrest two adults for being under the influence in car with three kids

 

Early Tuesday morning, Elk Grove police responded to a call for a car stopped at the intersection of Big Horn and Bruceville.  When officers arrived,  they found two adults in the front seats and three minors in the back that were all asleep.  Both the driver and passenger displayed signs of being under the influence.  25 year old Jasmine Qualisha Minor of Elk Grove was the driver and 26 year old Aaron Pugh of Sacramento was the passenger. Both were arrested and taken to jail.  The children were placed into protective custody.  Minor was charged with three felony counts of endangering the life of a child and a misdemeanor DUI. She is being held on $50,000 bail.  Pugh was released and no booking charges or photo were available
