NIGHT WATCH

Time:  0121 hours

Charges: VC 23152(A), PC 647 (F), 273 A(A)
Location: Big Horn Blvd. / Bruceville Rd.
Suspect #1: MINOR, QUALISHA (BFA, 25, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: PUGH, AARON (BMA, 26, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a call for service regarding a vehicle stopped at an intersection that had not moved for a period of time. Officers arrived and found S-1 (Elk Grove resident) in the driver’s seat, S-2 (Sacramento resident) in the passenger seat as well as three children in the rear passenger seats, all were asleep. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-2 displayed objective signs of intoxication. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail. The children were placed into protective custody.

Suspect: WADE, CARL (BMA, 46, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted during a call for service. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A probation search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: BAGUBE, JONHAZAEL (HMA, 27, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Elk Grove resident) causing a disturbance. S-1 refused to follow the officer’s directives. Officers attempted to place S-1 under arrest and S-1 began to physically resist. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and take him into custody. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Location: 9300 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: RAMIREZ, EDWARD (HMA, 32, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a family disturbance involving S-1 (Sacramento resident). During the disturbance, S-1 pointed a firearm at V-1. Officers arrived on scene and S-1 refused to come out of the residence. S-1 eventually came out on his own and was detained. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A search of the residence led to the discovery of a pellet gun. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Castro Verde Way / Ponta Do Sol Way
Suspect: BEAMS, KRISTOPHER (BMA, 26, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a physical altercation when S-1 pulled out a firearm from his person and shot V-1. V-1 was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening gunshot wound. S-1 left the scene in his vehicle and was located at his residence. A search of S-1’s residence led to the discovery of the firearm.  S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
