June primary election results


The unofficial results are in for the June primary. Some of the races will be part of the November elections.  In some local races if one of the participants gets 50%+1 there will not be a run off on November.


In local races of interest:

Sacramento County Sheriff, Incumbent Scott Jones won easily, getting over 50% of the vote, and will not face a runoff in November.  Jones ran against three other contenders. Jones received 53% of the vote.

In the Sacramento District Attorney race, Incumbent Anne Marie Schubert easily defeated challenger Noah Phillips, and will not face a run off in November. Schubert received 63% of the vote.
