Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Elk Grove resident). A records check revealed S-1 had at active warrants out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver and V-1 was a passenger in a motor vehicle. While the vehicle was moving, S-1 and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument. S-1 would not allow V-1 out of the vehicle and continued to drive the vehicle. V-1 exited the vehicle as it was moving and sustained visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect:  HANIFEH, OMAR (OMA, 31, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed V-1’s arms shook and pushed V-1 into a cabinet. V-1’s child was standing next to V-1 at the time of the push and was subsequently shoved as well. V-1 attempted to call for help but S-1 grabbed V-1’s phone preventing V-1 from calling for help. S-1 fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival but was later located at another location. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect #2:  QUESADA, SABIAN (WMA, 20, ARRESTED)

Officers observed S-1 and S-2 (Elk Grove residents) smoking marijuana in a park during an event. As officers were attempting to detain the suspects, S-1 started to physically resist. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. S-2 was arrested, issued a citation and released. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
