Location: 9000 block of Campbell Rd.
Suspect:  SHERMAN, CHAD (WMA, 35, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a call for service regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted S-1 (Rocklin resident) who was in the driver’s seat of the reported suspicious vehicle. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation and had an active warrant out for his arrest. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then booked at the main jail.

Suspect:  GAY, JEFFREY (WMA, 61, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a report of a wrong way driver. A witness followed the vehicle into a parking lot where the vehicle parked. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) exited the driver’s seat and walked away from the vehicle. Responding officers arrived and contacted S-1. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Officers responded to a call for service regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted S-1 (Galt resident) standing next to reported suspicious vehicle which was running. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests. A probation search of S-1’s person and vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance, indicia related to narcotic sales, and marijuana. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
