It’s time for the annual Santa and Sirens parade at Elk Grove fire stations. The event is hosted by the Cosumnes Fire Department and the Elk Grove Police Department. The parade will start at three local fire stations and then go through local neighborhoods. Santa will make an appearance. There will be an old fire engine, newer engines, police and more. Residents are encouraged to watch in front of their homes. Candy canes will be handed out. EGPD and Cosumnes Fire will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys to hand out to kids this holiday season. You can still be a part of the parade even if you don’t live there. Drive to an area near the parade route and park your car. Please be mindful of neighbors and do not block driveways.
Santa and his elves have teamed with the Cosumnes Fire Department and the Elk Grove Police Department to host a series of parades around town. A small convoy of emergency vehicles, along with firefighters, police officers and volunteers, will escort Santa through neighborhood streets between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (weather permitting) as they collect new, unwrapped toys for the Toy Project.
