A records check revealed both suspects were on probation and S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. A probation search of S-2’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine in the area where S-1 was seated. A search of S-1’s person led to indicia related to narcotic sales. S-2 was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, issued a citation and released. S-2 was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and his outstanding warrant and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was known to officers to be on probation and had active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was observed in the above area and officers attempted to detain S-1. S-1 attempted to run from officers but one officer was able to grab S-1. S-1 then pushed against the officer causing both to fall to the ground. As a result of the fall, the officer sustained an injury. S-1 attempted to flee from officers again but officers were able to overcome S-1’s physical resistance and detained him. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) and S-2 (unknown) were observed inside V-1’s residence by V-1’s house sitter. As the house sitter hid in the residence, both suspects took property and fled on foot. Responding officers arrived and established a perimeter in the area. During an extensive search of the area and with the assistance of a police K9, S-1 (Sacramento resident) was located in the backyard of another residence. Two backpacks that contained some of V-1’s property and two tire irons were found where S-1 was located. S-2 was not located. S-1 was taken into custody and then transported to juvenile hall.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) broke the side gate of V-1’s residence and attempted to force open V-1’s side garage door but was unsuccessful. S-1 then proceeded to try to open a bedroom window and door that were locked. V-1, who was home at the time and awakened by the sound of the broken gate, yelled at S-1 to leave the property. S-1 fled the backyard and was confronted by V-1 in the front yard of the residence. S-1 then left on foot and was later located in the area by responding officers. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary that had occurred earlier in the morning. V-1 checked the home’s surveillance video and observed a suspect, jump a fence and tried to gain entry into the garage by the side door but the door was locked. The suspect then looked through a bedroom window. The suspect then jumped back over the fence and left on foot. Officers identified the suspect in the surveillance video as S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who had been arrested earlier in the morning for the same crimes in the same area. Officers add booked S-1, who was already in custody at the main jail, on the additional charges.

S-1 proceeded to go through V-1’s pockets and then got into V-1’s vehicle and left in it. A white sedan with an Asian male driver followed behind S-1, who was in V-1’s vehicle. V-1’s vehicle was later located in Sacramento. S-1 was described as an Asian male adult in his twenties, 6’2, 200 pounds, wearing a white shirt and black jeans.
