Location: 9600 block of Bruceville Rd.
Suspect #1: ASHLEY, JARVIS (BMA, 31, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: SMITH, CURTIS (BMA, 58, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were observed shoplifting by store loss prevention officers. When store loss prevention attempted to detain both suspects, S-1 brandished a knife and threatened loss prevention officers. Fearing for their safety, the loss prevention officers backed away. Both suspects got into a vehicle and drove away. Responding officers located a vehicle matching the description provided by the loss prevention officers. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however, S-1 (driver) refused to stop. S-1 led officers on a pursuit into the city of Sacramento. Both suspects fled on foot from the vehicle in an apartment complex. Both suspects were located and detained. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A search of S-2’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: ROBINSON, MARK (BMA, 18, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed attempting to take a wheel off of V-1’s vehicle. V-1 confronted S-1 and S-1 fled the scene. Officers located S-1 a short distance away and detained. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: MERCADO, ANJELICA (HFA, 53, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed a plastic pipe and hit V-1 in the leg. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: WOOD, MATTHEW (WMA, 34, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Sacramento resident) causing a disturbance in a business. Officers arrived and contacted S-1. While officers were speaking with S-1, S-1 spat on one of the officers. S-1 displayed objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: SINGH, HARINDER (OMA, 41, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was riding a bicycle and stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A probation search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.
