Location: 8400 block of Laguna Palms Way
Suspect:  BRIGGS, TEVIN (BMA, 24, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for an active warrant and then transported to the main jail.

EVENING WATCH

Charges: PC 459.5, WARRANT
Location: 8800 block of Calvine Rd.
Victim: KOHL’S
Suspect #1:  WATSON, CYNCERE (BFA, 20, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: HARDEN, MICHELLE (BFA, 53, ARRESTED)
Suspect #3: GUILFORD, ALISE (BFA, 22, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Fresno resident), S-2, and S-3 (Sacramento residents) were observed shoplifting and left the store in a vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle leaving the area and stopped it. All three suspects were detained. A records check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-2 and S-3 were arrested, issued a citation and released. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect:  SMITH, REBECCA (WFA, 30, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to a call for service regarding a vehicle in the ditch. Officers arrived and made contact with the driver, S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 became physically resistive when officers attempted to detain her. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: High Tech Ct. / Laguna Blvd.
Suspect:  DAVIS, CRYSTAL (BFA, 28, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was observed by officers driving recklessly in the above area. S-1 was stopped for the vehicle code violations. During the stop, S-1 proceeded to drive away from officers and failed to stop for a short distance. S-1 eventually stopped for the second time and was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
