Elk Grove Police arrest man trying to enter homes

On Friday, Elk Grove Police officers arrested a man who was observed trying to enter homes in a residential area. The suspect was captured on the homeowners Ring video system. The homeowner called police who responded to the incident. The video was shared on the Elk Grove Laguna Forums Facebook page, receiving over 17,000 views.

Officers arrived and located the suspect, 22 year old Jaaron Stallworth of Sacramento, on his bike in the area. While one of the officers was conducting a search of the suspect, he started to resist and punched one of the officers in the face. Officers were able to detain him and determined he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for interfering with a school campus where he was not a student. He was also charged with resisting arrest.
