Two Lockeford bank robbery suspects arrested in Elk Grove on Monday

Two men suspected of robbing a bank in Lockeford, in San Joaquin County were arrested on Monday in Elk Grove.

The two men were wanted in connection with a bank robbery that took place around 10 am Monday morning in the 13000 block of E Highway 12 and Highway 88 in Lockeford.

San Joaquin Sheriff’s Deputies were investigating the robbery when they were notified by the Elk Grove Police Department that the suspect’s vehicle was located in the 7400 block of Grenfell Court in Elk Grove.

A perimeter was set up around the house around 11 am by Elk Grove police officers and the neighborhood was searched. During the search the San Joaquin Sheriff’s Department SWAT team was brought in along with deputies and an incident team. Shortly before 4 pm both suspects were taken into custody.

Darnell William Randle, 33, and Archie Lee Hansbury III, 32, were arrested and booked on robbery related charges.
