Detectives from the EGPD Street Crimes Unit served a two location search warrant (9800 block of W. Taron Dr. and 5600 block of Lilyview Way) related to an active marijuana cultivation operation. Detectives recovered over 800 plants. All four suspects (Elk Grove resident) were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect:  YAO, XIN (AMA, 48, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A probable cause search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of 40 marijuana plants. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.
