Yesterday at 5:17 PM we were dispatched to 10145 Twin Cities Road for a reported commercial structure fire. Upon arrival, crews identified we had a working fire with heavy fire involvement.

The response was upgraded to a 2nd Alarm, plus three additional water tenders. A total of 10 engines, six trucks, three ambulances, three water tenders, five chief officers, an air unit, and a rehab unit responded. A total of approximately 70 personnel. Cosumnes Fire, Sacramento Fire, Metro Fire, Wilton Fire, Herald Fire all had units on scene.

The fire started on the north side of the building and the winds we were experiencing quickly spread the fire throughout the building. There is major damage to the entire business. The cause is under investigation.

According to their website, Dees Meats has been in operation since 1976. The following statement is posted on their website:

Unfortunately, Dees Meats experienced a devastating fire on March 13, 2019. We are fortunate that no one was hurt. Due to the fire we are temporarily closed and cannot take orders online. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
