Location: 7200 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect #1:  HUNG, VANG (AMA, 26, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: LOPES, MERANDA (WFA, 43, ARRESTED)

Officers observed a parked vehicle occupied by two subjects in the above area. A records check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed the vehicle to be a reported stolen vehicle. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in the driver’s seat and S-2 (Sacramento resident) was in the passenger’s seat. Both suspects were detained. A records check revealed both suspects to be on probation and S-1 had active warrants out for his arrest. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Officers attempted to stop S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who was riding a motorcycle, for vehicle code violations. S-1 fled from officers at a high rate of speed but was later located in the area by responding officers. S-1 was taken into custody, issued a citation and released to a guardian.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 pushed V-1. V-1 fell and hit her head and hand on a doorframe causing visible injuries. S-1 was left prior to officers’ arrival but was later returned and was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.  V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

S-1 was stopped and detained. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
