Tune in to the State of the City Address this Thursday
Mayor Steve Ly will give his State of the City address during the Chamber’s annual event on Thursday, March 28 at The Falls Event Center. The City will host a live online broadcast of the Mayor’s speech from the city’s website at www.elkgrovecity.org beginning at 12:30 pm.
FREE Basic Backyard Composting Class on Saturday
Learn how to transform your yard and food waste into a rich soil amendment next Saturday, March 30 from 10 am to Noon at the Elk Grove Community Garden (10025 Hampton Oak Drive). Participants of this free class will walk away with everything they need to start composting including a starter compost bin and a bag of compost. Elk Grove-Florin Road Closed for Railroad Crossing Repairs April 1-5
Union Pacific Railroad has scheduled repairs to their railroad crossing on Elk Grove-Florin Road between Bond Road and Sheldon Road beginning on Monday, April 1. This is a full 24-hour road closure for five days, April 1-5.
