S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 pushed V-1 several times causing V-1 to fall backwards into a door frame. The incident took place with a child present. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-2 was arrested for trespassing, issued a citation and released. S-1 was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and trespassing. S-1 was transported to the main jail.

Suspect #2:  LOVELACE, MICHELLE (BFA, 40, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver and S-2 (Sacramento resident) was the front seat passenger along with another subject who was the rear passenger of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed S-2 to be on probation and had active warrants out for her arrest. The records check also revealed both suspects were prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm concealed in S-2’s purse which was in the front passenger area. The search also led to the discovery of burglary tools. A records check of the firearm’s serial number revealed the firearm was not registered. Both suspects were arrested for the above charges and then transported to the main jail.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
