S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was riding a bicycle and stopped for a vehicle code violation. S-1 gave officers a fictitious name. Officers learned S-1’s true identity and a records check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8400 block of Pastori Way
Suspect #1: VEGA, JUSTIN (HMA, 46, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2:  WILLIAMS, LARRY (BMA, 44, ARRESTED)
Suspect #3: OAKES, MIKAYLA (WFA, 18, ARRESTED)

Officers observed S-1 (Sacramento resident) driving a motor vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop based on probable cause. S-1 was detained and a records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of counterfeit money. Officers conducted a probation search of S-1’s residence where S-2 and S-3 (Sacramento residents) were contacted inside. While officers were trying to detain S-2, he ran from officers. After a short foot pursuit, S-2 was detained. A records check revealed S-2 to be on active parole. The probation search of the residence led to the discovery of three loaded firearms, 3 high capacity magazines, additional ammunition, counterfeit money, and a printer. S-1 was arrested for the counterfeit money, possession of ammunition and violating his probation. S-2 and S-3 were arrested for various firearm possession charges. In addition to the firearm charges, S-2 was arrested for violating his parole. All three suspects were transported to the main jail.
