S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a collision with another vehicle. As a result of the collision, the driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Sacramento resident) going into a backyard of a residence. Responding officers located S-1 hiding in the bed of a parked pickup truck in the area. Officers made contact with the owner of the residence (V-1) S-1 was observed going into the backyard of. V-1’s exterior surveillance system showed S-1 attempting to open a side door to V-1’s residence. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 left the scene prior to officers’ arriving but was located a short distance away in a parked vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of intoxication and slammed the vehicle door on the officers as they were attempting to detain S-1. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained S-1. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
