DAY WATCH

Time: 0812 hours

Charges: WARRANT
Location: 5000 block of Laguna Blvd.
Suspect: BAYONETA, TAUNA (HFA, 33, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Rancho Cordova resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check revealed S-1 had active warrants out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Hwy. 99 / Sheldon Rd.
Suspect: SIMPSON, STEVEN (WMA, 28, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A probation search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: JANKOWSKI, MICHAEL (AMA, 34, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 pinned V-1 to the ground and grabbed V-1 arms causing visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

Location: 9400 block of Harbour Point Dr.
Suspect: JUVENILE (BMJ, 16, ARRESTED)
Officers observed S-1 (Sacramento resident) driving a motor vehicle in the above area. A record check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle. S-1 was stopped and taken into custody. S-1 was transported to juvenile hall.

Suspect #1: VASQUEZ, TAMMY (HFA, 51, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: ADAMS, BILLY (WMA, 39, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Dixon resident) and S-2 (Sacramento resident) causing a disturbance. During the disturbance, the suspects vandalized V-1’s property. Both suspects were detained. A record check revealed both suspects were on probation. A probation search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for trespassing and violating his probation. S-1 was transported to the main jail.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
