S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was riding a bicycle and stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were detained for shoplifting. Both suspects were arrested, issued citations and released.

Officers responded to a call for service regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in the above area. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and S-2 (Sacramento resident) were contacted inside the vehicle. A record check revealed both suspects were on probation. A probation search of S-1’s person and S-2’s vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: JUVENILE (HMJ, 16, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) approached V-1, brandished a knife and demanded V-1’s property. Fearing for his safety, V-1 ran away from S-1. Responding officers located S-1 a short distance away and detained him. S-1 was taken into custody and then transported to juvenile hall.

Suspect: BARBOUR, GRANT (WMA, 23, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle observed in the above area and known to have an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was stopped, arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
