Hawaiian and Tahitian dance group

Otahi Marama, Mea Ho’okahi began as a small Hawaiian and Tahitian dance class for young children at Tribal Conneczion studio in 2013. Since then, OMMH has added classes for teens and adults, formed a competition team and a music team, and has showcased at multicultural events, talent shows, and festivals around the Central Valley.
As OMMH, we believe in perpetuating the Hawaiian and Tahitian culture through the arts of dance, music, costume making, and story telling. As teachers, we believe that through the beauty and strength of Hula and Ori Tahiti (beyond the benefits of exercise), students of all ages and backgrounds can learn to treat other cultures and people with respect, practice responsibility, and physically express their emotions in a safe space. As a family, we believe in the power of fostering community, cooperation, love & ALOHA.
We are located in Elk Grove, Ca and we always welcome new students that want to experience hula and ori tahiti. Contact us for more information on joining a class!

Elk Grove non-profit engaging student in playing strings and orchestra instruments and bringing classical music into the community

Formerly Stonelake Youth Symphony, the youth orchestra program provides professional musicianship opportunities to local students. We offer beginning strings training as well as a student orchestra program. Our students develop their skills as they play with others and experience music in a deeper way. We also reach out into the community to perform and expose more students to the music and instruments of the orchestra

Vision
The Serendipity Center for Leadership and Learning is a place where students gather for small-group classes that spark creative genius, foster independent thinking, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Carefully selected mentors help students gain confidence, seek knowledge, and explore new ideas in a positive and uplifting environment.

Mission
To build a community of families who desire outstanding educational experiences for their children in a safe, well-rounded, and unique learning environment.

To create a place for students to be encouraged, enriched, and inspired via wholesome, high-quality classes and activities.

To employ mentors who are passionate, motivating, and understanding of each child’s learning style and needs. Mentors help children discover their unique gifts and talents and empower them to reach their full potential. They help foster love of learning by teaching children to think outside the box and to view failure as a stepping stone to success.

To instill a sense of integrity, confidence and compassion in each student in a safe, nurturing environment.

To complement and enhance the learning that takes place at home and in other areas of the student’s life.

To be flexible and open to changes that will help improve our offerings as we grow and evolve. We welcome input and recommendations that align with our vision and help fulfill our mission.
