I think that’s tough. Very subjective. I know my husband LOVES Super Taco. I don’t like beans and sour cream so I don’t typically eat burritos.
I really like Baja Burrito (think they just changed their name, can’t remember the new name). I really love their Horchata.
You can have whatever you want in the burritos. I don’t like sour cream either. I always ask to exclude it.

They are now La Cocina Tacqueria
Dos Coyotes.
Sol, they have the best shrimp burrito:)
From FB we have Chipotle, Plaza Del Sol, Cilantros and Jimboys
Freebirds, hands down! It’s all design your own (set up the same as Subway).
Dos Coyotes
La Cocina (Baja)

Didn’t Lynyrd Skynyrd do that? :sarcastic
La Favorita on EG blvd
That’s a couple for La Favorita here and on FB. Also El Potro from FB. Super Taco has had a couple as has Free Birds.
My absolute favorite was my Grandma’s – No one has been able to duplicate her red or green sauces (or her tamales). We had a Mexican restaurant for years and she was the cook. But no one makes them that way anymore – I will vote for Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Freebirds.
I’m hungry!
No Chipotle? Guess Doc hasn’t voted yet 😎
I didn’t know Dos Coyotes had traditional burritos. I’ve had their paella and shrimp burrito many times and really like that one.
Funny, I don’t eat burritos when I go out to eat (except maybe Taco Bell/Jimboys). I usually eat carnitas or a chimichanga, or a bowl if I go to Chipotle. I have had the burritos at Baja, so I will go with that…
Before Gordito left we used to go there, but I haven’t had a burrito out anywhere since then. I just make them at home.
Dos Coyotes, hands down.
Still sad about Gordito……..
We went there a lot when they opened. Another place I liked was the Mexican food where Bamboo is now. I used to get the Burrito especial. Then there was another place over by La Bou and then that place closed too.
Baja Burrito Under it’s new name which I still cannot remember….
How about Cilantro’s?
I like the burrito place by Target, where Borders used to be. Haven’t been there in years. I like to make them at home, so I pick mine.: )

Baja Fresh?
Pfft your talking to the mexican lovin eater over here. I was on a mission a couple years ago to try every Mexican place in Elk Grove. I did it but granted there are new ones that I need to try.
Dos, and El Porto. Hands down for burritos
Super Taco/Cilantros for Tacos
El Jardin for Fajitas.
Last time I went to Vallarta over in Stonelake they had some good enchiladas, that was a couple years back though when I was doing my taste testing. 🙂
I know you said best burrito, but I added to it.
Yes, thank u. Baja Fresh.
I love Dos Coyotes Shrimp Burritos!
