Elk Grove police confirmed Monday night that the vehicle belonging to missing pregnant woman Aubrey Andrews was discovered in a parking lot. A woman’s body was found inside the vehicle, but police have not identified the person.

The vehicle, a 2005 white Toyota Prius, was found by Elk Grove police near the 8400 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. Police say the body of a deceased adult female was inside.

Sacramento police investigators were called to the scene and confirmed that the car belonged to Andrews.

Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play to the body.

The investigation continues and the coroner’s office will release the identity of the woman after proper notifications have been made, police said.

Hhhmmmm. No signs of foul play? Maybe it was a suicide. I thought the husband may be more involved.

But pregnancy does mess with the hormones. We all know about the post pardom Blues. I am sure the pregnancy Blues happen too. Especially this time of being the most common for suicides.

This is so sad. She suffered from post part depression with her first child. Seems like it maybe struck earlier this time.

She went missing December 6 and was just found. I wonder where she was in the days between and how long was the car at Walmart?

I think they are waiting for next of kin and the coroner. Most likely it’s her.

I am sorry I know so many people hate Walmart, but they have security. They also have cameras. I am betting she wasn’t there too long……and I hope whoever did it(insert my suspicion of the husband) is seen on tape and gets thrown in jail forever!

I think we should hold judgment until we know what happened. The initial report was police found no foul play. Who knows what actually happened at this point. Prayers for the young woman and her family.

Yes we don’t know at this point. Could be anything. Very sad regardless.

It could be anything…….you’re right. But it could also be murder. I am sick for those who loved her. May her little 3 year old have loving arms around him.

For it to even sit there overnight without security looking into it would mean the security needs to be replaced. I don’t understand how such a HUGELY busy parking lot would allow it to go unnoticed….

Plus late at night time or early morning is not that busy. Guess it depends if the body was lying down or upright.

Do we know where it was found in that center? There are a lot of places where a car could sit unnoticed for a while.

I didn’t see it on the news. They just showed the parking lot. If a person was laying down, I can see where it would go unnoticed for awhile. People are in and out all day and security may think it was an employee’s car
