Don’t know if anyone knew about this, but, KB homes purchased the lot at the corner or Franklin and whitelock. They will be building new homes in a gated community. Models will be done by the end of June as ground was broken last week.

I think this is the development:

If so, this is the one that was started and then stopped when real estate tanked.

That’s it. I don’t know if KB was the builder on the homes that are currently there…

I think it was Dunmore homes. Contractor’s put liens on the homes that were built because Dunmore declared Bankruptcy. Homeowner’s could not sell due to the liens. Then Dunmore sold that property for $1. Yup One Dollar! I dont know remembr the name of the company who bought it but it was either a relative or business partner.

Anyone else remember this? Doc? LC?

Always wondered why they weren’t building in that nice area.
