What’s the scoop on this? The lot at E Stockton and Hampton Oak hasn’t been mowed, and I thought that it was required to mow tall grass in the spring to decrease the chance of fire. It’s a bit nerve-wracking to see that much drying fuel that close to a house I just bought. It’s a fixer-upper, sure, and needs a lot of work, but I’d rather not have to start from scratch. 🙂
What am I saying? I’m sure someone does in this place. Y’all seem to know everything. 😎
I checked the CSD website, and it says that letters to property owners go out in May, which seems a little late considering how dry things are by mid-April, usually. By May we could have a nice hot grass fire on our hands!
