    Somehow I hear dueling banjoes and picture a mobile home for this story.

    I don’t know where people seem to think that being stun gunned wouldn’t be so bad!! SMH

    JUNEAU, Wis. — A 42-year-old Illinois man was fined $250 after allegedly using a stun gun on his wife after she lost a bet on a Packers-Bears game.

    John Grant of Tinley Park pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct Thursday.

    The Daily Citizen reports Judge Steven Bauer ordered the fine plus court costs.

    The couple was driving through Mayville in their semi when they stopped at a bar to watch the Nov. 4 game, which the Packers lost 27-20.

    According to the complaint, Nicole Grant bet her husband that he could use a stun gun on her for three seconds if Green Bay lost.

    John Grant allegedly used it three times on her, and she called police. She told officers she didn’t think her husband would actually use the weapon on her.

    Yikes, this is the same story but your link is from the Chicago Tribune back in November and my link is from the AP but dated January 14, 2014. I wonder what gives? AP apparently came late to the game and conveniently omitted the dates that this activity happened.

    I remember the original story was when it happened and it sounds like the AP published this when he was convicted.
