NIGHT WATCH

Location: 8800 block of El Toreador Way.  
Suspect: JUVENILE (BMJ, 16, ARRESTED)

Officers contacted and detained a group of suspicious individuals who were at Castello Park. During the contact, S-1 (Sacramento resident) fled on foot. A brief foot pursuit ensued and S-1 was apprehended in the front yard of a nearby residence. S-1 was taken into custody then transported to EGPD. S-1 was processed then issued a misdemeanor citation and released to his parents.

Suspect: RAFANAN, MARIO (WMA, 44, ARRESTED)
Suspect: ROSS, DANIEL (WMA, 25, ARRESTED)

S-1 was observed operating a motor vehicle in which S-2 (Sacramento resident) was a passenger. Officers knew that S-1 had active warrants out for his arrest. When officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, S-1 did not yield and led officers on a pursuit that travelled three miles. Both suspects fled on foot after their vehicle became disabled in an open field. Responding officers were able to locate and detain the suspects without incident. A search of S-1 led to the discovery of ammunition, burglary tools and a controlled substance. Both suspects were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: MOHIB, SAIFU (AMA, 42, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 picked up a broom and swung it at V-1. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
