Elk Grove Police Chief Finalist For Spokane Police Chief Job

Elk Grove Police Department Police Chief Robert Lehner is one of two finalists for the police chief position with the city of Spokane. At a community meeting held on Wednesday, July 27, Lehner and Dominic Rizzi from the Yakima Police Department answered questions submitted by the community. Spokane’s Mayor said he would like to make announcement in a few days. A short video of the Spokane community meeting can be seen on KXLY Channel 4 in Spokane

 

Lehner has been Elk Grove’s Police Chief since 2008. Prior to that he was the Police Chief for Eugene Oregon from 2004-2008. He has been in law enforcement for 38 years. During Lehner’s tenure, the crime rate in Elk Grove has dropped.
