Rescate Coffee; located at 2475 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95758 is the only Elk Grove coffeeshop that has on-site roasting for the freshest coffee in Elk Grove! Rescate, which is Spanish for Rescue, originated out of a passion for coffee, fresh pastries, and helping to rescue abused animals. Owners Ladd and Anthony wanted to create an environment that feels like you are in a larger city but with the type of service you can only get from your local hometown coffeeshop. At Rescate Coffee, coffee is freshly roasted, espresso drinks are hand crafted, and the customer is at the forefront of everything they do.
Ladd grew up in a farming community with his family in a small town in Oregon, were he helped his family with wheat, alfalfa, and Christmas tree farms, and other consumable products. At the age of eighteen, Ladd moved up north to Seattle and landed a job with a coffee company. This is where Ladd grew his passion and extensive knowledge for the art of coffee. Today, Ladd posses a strong and solid background in the coffee specialty industry. With 12 years of experience with a reputable coffee company, Ladd led his stores and baristas to create a quality beverage for the coffee enthusiast.
Anthony grew up in the restaurant industry working in his families’ restaurant in the Oak Park suburb of Sacramento, CA. One of Anthony’s contributions was developing a cupcake line which he sold at the restaurant and is now featured at Rescate Coffee. Anthony’s cupcakes are available on Weekends and by special order for any type of event you can come up with! Anthony has spent many years marketing businesses and has taken on both the food and marketing efforts for Rescate Coffee. Being involved in the community is important to Ladd and Anthony. With this in mind, Anthony has created relationships with Cars N Coffee, Project Ride, Cosumnes Parks and Recreation, Flatlands Brewing Company, and Front Street Animal Shelter to name a few. Anthony is also working with local schools, and not-for-profit groups where we can give back to our local community.
