NIGHT WATCH

Suspect: CURIEL, ANTHONY (WMA, 27, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Lodi resident) was contacted after a call for service regarding a person sleeping on a public bench. Officers arrived and contacted S-1 who matched the description provided by the caller. Upon contact, S-1 would not identify himself and did not comply with instructions. S-1 tucked both of his arms into his chest under his chin and would not allow officers to conduct a search. Officers used control holds and were able to detain S-1. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 and S-2 (Elk Grove residents) were arrested then issued misdemeanor citations for possession of paraphernalia and narcotics.
