NIGHT WATCH
Time: 0223 hours

Report #: 16-006803

Charges: VC 23152(A), 23152(B), 2800.1(A), 20002(A)(1)

Location: 6100 block of Pine Vista Way.

Suspect: CURIEL, ANTHONY (WMA, 27, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that collided with a parked car at the above location. S-1 fled the scene in his vehicle and the reporting person provided a description of S-1’s vehicle. Responding officers located S-1 operating the describe vehicle, southbound on Cresleigh Parkway, and attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. S-1 did not yield and led officers on a pursuit that travelled .5 miles. S-1 eventually stopped in front of his residence and was detained. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested. S-1 was cleared for incarceration at a local area hospital then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8400 block of Elk Grove Blvd.

Victim: WAL MART

Suspect: LATIF, EYHAB (OMA, 37, ARRESTED)
S-1 entered Wal-Mart and attempted to purchase merchandise with a fictitious $100 bill. When EGPD was contacted, S-1 left the store and was observed driving away from the location. Responding officers located S-1 traveling eastbound on Elk Grove Blvd and conducted a vehicle stop. S-1 was detained and a records check revealed that S-1 had an active warrant out for his arrest. A search of S-1 led to the discovery of a second fictitious bill. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: JUVENILE (HFJ, 15, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was placed under citizen’s arrest for battery then issued a misdemeanor citation and released.

Suspect: LY, CUONG (AMA, 39, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to the above location regarding a vehicle driving recklessly. Officers located the described vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Location: 8200 block of Kammerer Rd.

Suspect: GARCIA, JASON (HMA, 22, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to the above location regarding a hit and run collision that had just taken place. When officers arrived, they contacted the reporting person who indicated that he had been rear-ended while driving his vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle, later identified as S-1 (Rancho Cordova resident), had fled on foot into a nearby field. Officers located and detained S-1. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. S-1 was medically cleared for incarceration at a local area hospital then transported to the main jail.
