Last year over 2500 people attended the inaugural event held at the Old Town Plaza. It was sold out and was a huge success. Elk Grove is becoming a hot bed for local craft breweries with Flatland Brewing, Tilted Mash, Waterman Brewing and Dreaming Dog Brewery opening in the spring of 2017. Yesterday it was reported that Flatland Brewery received a $5000 grant from the City of Elk Grove.

After a hugely successful turnout and overwhelming positive feedback this year, Beers in Sac recently announced that the Elk Grove Brewfest will return next year.

Because of the City’s ever-growing craft beer scene that continues to attract new breweries and businesses, the 2nd Annual Elk Grove Brewfest offers an unique opportunity for local and craft breweries to showcase their products. This community focused and inspired event will feature even more breweries, cideries, meaderies, and wineries than this year’s event, and will continue to promote Elk Grove as the new center for brewers and vintners.

In addition to beer tastings, the 2017 Elk Grove Brewfest will feature local gourmet food trucks, vendors, a cigar lounge, and live music and entertainment. Don’t miss out on this 21 and over event – be sure to purchase your tickets as soon as possible before they sell out!

The event is brought to you by Beers In Sac, in partnership with the City of Elk Grove, and will be benefiting Elk Grove’s own, the Runnin’ For Rhett Foundation.
