Elk Grove police arrest suspect in Old Town General Store robbery
On 10/30/2016 at approx. 1000 hours, a male subject entered the Old Town General Store located at 9032 Elk Grove Boulevard, Elk Grove, and committed a robbery. The male subject displayed a note demanding money and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the register. Through investigative efforts and tips from the community, the suspect was identified as 29-year-old Ridge PHILLIPS (booking photo attached). Officers arrested PHILLIPS late Wednesday evening after a vehicle stop. After conducting additional follow-up, detectives have been unable to connect Phillips to the robbery at Tiger’s Yogurt.

Just to clarify, the subject placed a note on the counter stating, i have a gun, and then told the clerk open the drawer or i will blow your head off. Thank you to everyone who helped the capture of this man and the elk grove p.d.
