Elk Grove Police release names of suspects arrested in this morning’s burglary

 

As we reported earlier this morning, there was a burglary on Modena Way where the homeowner fired a shotgun at a suspect that was in his garage. The burglary suspect escaped, but two of the accomplices in a car were apprehended by police.

 

Both suspects are Sacramento residents and were arrested on charges of PC 459 (Burglary) and 182(A)(1) (Conspiracy). The third person who fled on foot had not been located.

Suspect: BLAKE, MANDIE (WFA, 39, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to the above location regarding a possible trespasser. Officers arrived and contacted the reporting person who advised that the realtor’s lock box appeared to be missing from the home. Officers conducted a search of the residence and located S-1 (Sacramento resident) inside. Officers also located a vehicle parked inside the partially opened garage. A records check revealed that S-1 was on probation. A consent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 was observed operating a motor vehicle in which S-2 (Sacramento resident) was a passenger. Officers knew that S-1 had active warrants out for his arrest. When officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, S-1 did not yield and led officers on a pursuit that travelled three miles. Both suspects fled on foot after their vehicle became disabled in an open field. Responding officers were able to locate and detain the suspects without incident. A search of S-1 led to the discovery of ammunition, burglary tools and a controlled substance. Both suspects were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: ROSS, DANIEL (WMA, 25, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped after a records check revealed that the rear license plate had been reported stolen. Upon contact, S-1 was found to be on probation and a records check revealed that S-1’s driver’s license had been suspended. A subsequent search of S-1 led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation and released.
