12 year old on bike hit by car in Old Town Elk Grove 

Officers responded to a collision at Elk Grove Blvd. and School St. yesterday afternoon at 5:19pm. A 12-year-old was diagonally crossing the intersection with his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle. The juvenile was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of his no-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and the collision is under investigation.
